I'm looking at getting a new machine....possibly a VX9. I have a question for those of you who know. Is the VX9 a good machine for Civil War relic hunting ? Looking past the hype, how does it work compared to a Deus 2 or Manticore? They advertise it has features/performance compared to machines costing twice it's price.
Any information would be appreciated.

What are you upgrading to the VX9 from?

No, the VX9 is not equal to Deus 2 and Manticore at least where I detect in higher iron mineralization.

However, if you are a loyal Garrett user, it is a big improvement over their previous models and it’s fun to use.
