Battery Charger for a 1980s Garrett Sea Hunter XL500TR Metal Detector for $25 plus shipping. These MD's ran on 3-9volts, so this charges 9 volt batteries. I have no idea if this charger will work on the XL500PI(pulse) or any other Garrett MD. As far as I know it only works on the XL500TR
This charger does work, I used it on my XL500TR this summer. I traded it up for a new Garret S.H. Mark II. And I kept the charger and headsets cause another person said they wanted them, they have since got another UW MD and do not need them. Headsets are already sold so I decided to see if anyone might need the charger.
Garrett does not make these chargers anymore because they can not get the connections, so if you still have a 1980's Garrett XL500TR MD and your charger needs replaced, this is what you need.
I will take a Post Office or bank Money Order, Bank cashiers check, sorry on personal checks. If you want to use Paypal, you will have to pay PP's fees, which is 30 cents + .29% of total payment.
