How many folks out there still use the Garrett XL500? What the best thing they like about it besides it still drums along like the Energizer Bunny after 20 years! Now that's quality product! Thanks Charles!

I still have my old VLF XL500 from the eighties. I never use it anymore, but I do charge it up every now and again and test it/ check it out and it's still kickin'. Made some pretty good finds with it back in the day. Good machine. I'm truly amazed that it still works. Best thing I like about it is the different discrimination capabilities. That old hard side carry case/suitcase is pretty cool, too. Happy Hunting:)
