GB question

The ground in my area is just about nuetral. It is actually impossible to GB the XTerra and the tone will stay unchanged from "0" to "20". When this happens, where is it best to set the GB and start hunting? When I use a quarter size piece of hematite to make sure my GB is working correctly, it will GB at a "3", so I know it is working correctly. Thanks for any info. HH John
 
closely duplicate the Minelab factory setting for the X-Terra 30. If you've got ground that good, I envy you!

Make sure you attempt to GB with the highest sensitivity you can as that might provide a little extra ability for you to determine if a slightly + or - setting from #6 would be better.
