Geez... after the posts below, I'm almost ashamed to post this but :)

Got my 6th silver in 4 times out (which is nothing short of a miracle in my neck of the woods :) ) Just barely silver though... a '63 Rosie. I'm really liking the Platypus at this point :) Now where are those CS buckles, Barbers, IH's, etc... ???

WTG Joe! You just keep pulling those silver out of the ground. Eventually you will hit an area with the older coins in it and then you will really have fun. Good Luck and HH.

I got a 42 Merc in good shape the other day with my platapus. I,m liking mine more and more also. Seems to be better on the small stuff.

I'll take silver any kind of silver any day :) Don't get me wrong if it could be a seated or barber then it's just that much better!

I have been using the Platypus most of last year and with great results. Never think that this forum is a place of compatition... Lots and Lots of great people with some fantastic and not so fantastic finds...
Some post more than others and some only read the mail.
Get a hold of a camera and we'd love to see a dime from time to time.(Especially when we're not finding any silver):)...Some posts little or big is what gives most of us the incentive to get out there and find one for ourselves....
