Geocached today with Casey...

Pete in MI

New member
Sherry was busy at home so gave Casey and I time to be together and bond.

She was the Navigator telling me where to turn and such. Got 2 out of 4 caches..we didn't find one and gave up on going after the 4th.

Here is Casey as she is trying to dodge a frog that jumped out to 'attack her' as she put it.

Can't say she was properly dressed for a geocache hidden in a woods and we forgot to take the insect spray. She was going nuts from the bugs and the frogs.

We did get to see the Reedsburg dam

and watched as some boys were playing in the falling water of the dam.

It was pretty cool to see these teens having fun and 'hiding' on the other side of the falling water - like there was a cave behind the water.

Here is one of the caches we found...can ya see it?

So we had a fun day...and also found a foundation from the old dam (1800s) that I just might have to see if I can detect the area sometime.

Hope you all had a great day.

It sure is a lot of fun! :)
