George, I just saw on the news a tornado went through your part of the woods.....

son called and said it was sure nasty at his place but we fared well, with just high winds and lightning. They are not to common in these parts. Fact nothing with the weather is to common right now around these parts. Not much summer weather, far more rain that we are used to this time of year. A lot of folks concerned about how we will do with the hurricanes this year. So far, very well, none even looking at us. Maybe if it stays cool, that will keep them at bay.
