George VI Shilling

This is a nice silver shilling (1941) that I found in Bermuda - the hi-res scan shows all the hairline scratches, but it looks quite good in person. I also found a 1906 shilling which I'll post later. These were my two silver coin finds - although they were both land finds - I thought you might like to see some other Bermuda stuff. Each is approx. the size of a US quarter. Best, Erik

This one was a surprise - not that deep and I certainly wasn't expecting silver as this was my first target in an in-land area. But at 101 years old - a nice surprise for this coin to see the light of day again!

You were fortunate to find the 1906 on land instead of in the water. Silver that old, looks like this when it comes out of the waters around Bermuda.
