I loved the MS-3 headphones on my Apex, and now my Vortex. Especially because my AT-ProPointer also links to them, so I don't have to take them off when switching to the carrot. My understanding is that the CS-3 is the same as the MS-3, except that it's on-the-ear rather than over-the-ear.

Bottom line is that if you have a Vortex (or an Axiom, Apex, or AT Max), and don't have a CS-3 or MS-3, I'd recommend them. If you're thinking of getting a Vortex, this is a good bundle.
