Getting in touch with my inner compadre

My outlaw is In the shop. So I have been spending time with my compadre. It was my first detector and I really know its language. I found a gold ring the other day in a park( a first fOr me) and yesterday a silver ring. It's been a good week. Everyone should try going back to their roots.

I did and I am loving it. Compadre is awesome.

Don't think of your Outlaw as replacing your Compadre.

It just compliments it.

I keep a Compadre in my work service van. I sometimes go detecting during lunch or after work if I am near a park area. I have found several pieces of silver jewelry with it but so far no gold.

Don't worry Rick. Just keep swinging and believing the Compadre will find it and one day the gold will be there. I found my 1st gold ring at the first of this year with my Compadre. You have to hunt with it set close to Iron to find the smaller gold rings. If I have a while to hunt this is my favorite setting. I seem to find a whole lot more coins this way. It is easy to have a dig all mentality with the Compadre because it pinpoints so easily and you are not digging up pull tabs and foil drink caps at 8 to 10 inches constantly. Just keep being persistent. This is only my second year with the Compadre and it is my favorite go to detector.

when I am feeling low I grab the Compadre. It never seems to disappoint. It was my first detector and the first thing I ever found with it was a silver bracelet. I have loved it ever since. It will delever you just have to give it time. I am thinking of getting another one to make into a pinpointer for my PI gold detector. http://metaldetectingforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=171588&stc=1&d=1345774020

That is awesome. Do you need a concealed weapons permit to carry it?? (My attempt at humor)
