Getting my tiger shark next week!

I have my Atpro and I'm getting a tiger shark so me and my son can do some beach hunting together and I can't wait, the tiger shark sounds like a great detector for fresh water hunting, my Atpro is a great machine to which I love, just thought I would share that, HH, Hank

Hey Hank,

I've been happy with my Tiger Shark for 11 yrs., great on small gold. Good luck with yours.

You will love it. It is a great land machine as well. What size coil u get. I think 8 will find smaller gold and b easer to swing in water. U going salt water? Dry sand or wet?

Thanks, it comes with a 10" coil and from what I read it's built like a tank, best of luck Hotzone and Hombre, Hank

11 years with the tiger shark is a long time I bet you guys know every little sound it makes and what it's telling ya, I will be asking for pointers from pro's from time to time.

Congrats! I am looking to get a water machine as well and the Tiger Shark is on my list. I'm thinking either it or an xcal or whites bhid 300. The price and lifetime warranty are very attractive though!

The Tigershark has been a great machine for me. The only compliant I have is that it is heavy and after a few hours of swinging my arm is killing me. Hip mounting is a little tricky, at least for me, I just can't get it to hang right. Otherwise I don't think I would ever get rid of it.
You will enjoy it!

Thanks for info, I think I will chest mount it, it looks like a solid machine, I will get the chest mount pouch for it .

I like the control under the elbow counterbalancing the coil. I used to carry a golf bag for 18 holes of golf when that was my passion, so the weight doesnt bother me. I like the exercise.

I could see now how it would balance out the coil mounted under the elbow, thanks Hank
