got out for the first time this year. had to fight the mud to get out on the desert, but it was a beautiful sunny day. i was hunting an old camp with lots of broken purple glass, which says early 1900's to me (old for utah). i got that sweet silver tone and bent down to dig, & up pops a 1961 rosie dime! also found a '64 nickel & two '63 pennies within about a foot - little pocket spill i guess. this was within 20 yards of where i found a pocket spill last spring with a barber dime, barber quarter and two V nickels!
oh well, the find wasn't as old as the site, but silver is silver. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="
"> had fun, got some sun & got to swing the old explorer for the first time in months.
