Remember the challenge I put out a couple months back to get you out detecting? Here it is again! Only this time you can win a prize! All you have to do is go detecting, then post when you went and what you found so we know you went. This will be done on the honor system! I will keep track of each post, and if you go more than one time you will get a chance for each time you go! Multiple winners!!!! :) If you posted here on the CMD forum this year you can play! So get out there and dig, even if it is for only 30 minutes! You will be glad you did! It has to be an actual hunt, not a competition or seeded hunt! It also has to be a hunt that you go on after this post, not before! I will let this go till at least Monday nite!

I'm sure it can be done, as long as folks aren't debating and arguing about it. I am going to be busy till after the weekend, but I will think on some ideas between now and Monday! ;)
 
...I have the weekend off;and Saturday I have to put my camper on my truck to get it ready for VACATION:thumbup:...A ways from me;there is a road-side park-WITH A SOFT-BALL BACK-STOP ON IT...Haven't detected it yet-And;its on the way to Wal-Mart;and K-mart:thumbup:SO::detecting::clapping:As Mel Fisher used to say;tomorrow I will say"TODAYS THE DAY"!!:thumbup:i WILL LET YA KNOW WHEN i GET BACK;mIKE!!
 
I have to work today (Saturday) but I'm going to meet up with Mike tomorrow and hit some more of that colonial era park. Been doing a lot of looking around comparing Sanborn maps to Google earth pics. VERY interesting. I think I've got another 2 sites that look promising :)
