We have a Dogwood, but it is the type with the cork-screw branches, and it doesnt have the majesty of yours! That a purty one you have!

The Dogwood is right outside my kitchen window and gives me a blessing most all the time! In the Spring, white blossoms, in the summer green leaves, in the fall it turns to bright red and then I can view the birds coming to eat the red berries! In the winter when it's white with snow, ice and one time it was laced with Hoar Frost. I didn't get a pic and I've been sorry ever since!!
I am so blessed and when my daughter brought it home from school for Arbor Day (she was about 7) we planted it in just the right spot. We had cut down a Pin-Oak when we first moved into this place and am I glad, as the Dogwood sure beats those Pin-Oaks and not near the leaves to have to rake or mulch!:D
I wish now we would have cut down all the others and planted ornamental shrubs and trees in their place. I detest (HATE) these Pin-Oaks, especially when they shed all those millions, billions or trillions of leaves, limbs and wooden balls!!
God Bless!
