Going back to Factory Presets:

Mtnmn

New member
Don't know about the rest of you folks, but by going back to Factory Preset settings on a regular basis and then reentering my new values, it seems to enhance the performance of my XT-70. Have any of the rest of you noticed the same thing? Mtnmn

Hmmmm. I never thought about it but I will have to try. I just found out that I could go back to factory presets on the patterns mode. I have gone back to factory presets in mode and just the other day I found out that I could also do it in the patterns. My ext 70 was a shelf model when I bought it and maybe the sales guy tried to use it or something but my patterns 1 2 and 3 were all messed up. I just posted a question on that this week and I have that straightened out. I will try this the next time I go out and will post back on here to let you know.

Maybe I should clarify my statement a little. I had noticed it seemed like the performance of my XT-70 had been tailing off a little bit over time and because of having not done a Factory Preset in about a year, I tried it and it did seem to help. Now I do one at the beginning of each startup and my average depth of coins seems to have improved. Though it could be from having gained another year's experience or from having already found most of the shallower coins..
