Going Hunting on Thursday

Well my Father and I are taking our machine and going to Franconia, an area in AZ that is a known strewn field and hunting for meteorites.
I will be hunting with my GMT and he will be using his MXT.
I will post the results of our hunt tomorrow after I get back.
 
Well I madeit back from my hunt, didn't do to bad today.
I managed to find a 63.9 gram meteorite (chondrite) and a 1.1 Gram Iron meteorite. both found with the GMT.
My Father did not have any luck this time out but there is always the next time.
 
I think they sell for about 1.50 a gram unless there is something special about a particular meteorite.
