New member
Out scouting old properties and finally got permission on one and did a 20 min test hunt for this Sunday when Barbara can go.. Got a wheat cent then bang this honking gold ring!. My first class ring. 1972 Lafargeville. Blue stone? initials look like T M, inside reads Jostens G 10 K, has to be worth a hundred bucks?
Fisher F 70, came up a little jumpy on foil
Man, gold sure cleans up faster than silver. Just water, no soaking in tarn x and rubbing. I think I prefer gold!

Man oh Man! Camp! Thats a beauty! That should have hit near a zinc penny signal, but depending upon how they are laying in the dirt, or if theres anything interfering, that signal could be just about anywhere. Do a few drops and sweep if out in your yard for me will ya? Just for my own peace of mind. Yes thats a couple hundred dollars of gold there alright! Congrats on your first class ring, and with your success on the F70!:clapping:
