I will need my Gold Bug 2 for a civil war hunt, I have the 14 and 6 in. coils. How will the gold bug 2 do on civil war iteams ? Thanks --Jack in Atlanta
 
Depends on the soil condition, and how well it handles iron and your proficiency with the detector [to recognize the iron.] Will it correctly i.d. large iron, because it will be plentiful.
