The first G.B. came out operating at around 20 khz, the frequency then went to 60 khz in the G.B.2. Much bragging was done about that being the ultimate gold finding frequency. However, when the G.B. Gold Strike came out the frequency was lowered to 30khz and now with the S.E. it has been lowered to 17khz. Who's fooling who here? Anyone out there able to put a real handle on this? Anyone on this forum played around with these units and have any data. What's considered the favorite gold detector? I put this here, hoping more would see it. Any response would be appreciated.
