This is a 1891 British gold Sovereign, with Queen Victoria/St. George slaying the dragon.

Found a few weeks ago with a Garrett 2500, 8", coin sized, bouncy target ID 5-6. This beautiful coin was found in a well hunted area, and had been passed over more than once.

They're out there!
