gold coins

Any suggestions on what is best for gold coins between the GP extreme, Infinium, and the Goldquest and Aqua quest? I will probably be hunting on dry land and occasional creeks.
I figured that if it was good for gold nuggets then it would also be good for gold coins but I think Mr. Bill said that just the opposite is actually true.

Nuggets do respond differently than gold coins. The mineral makeup of nuggets can vary a lot, affecting there response to a detector. Gold coins can have alloys added to them that also affects the response of the detector to them. Our US gold coins have a great amount of pure gold in them, some other coins may have a different percentage of alloys in them. This will greatly affect the way the detector will respond to it.
With the Goldquest SS, one can re-tune the unit to be more responsive very easily while using, to be more responsive to selected metals. Other words you can re-tune to make it respond better toward gold coins if you, the user, feel it
