Gold coins.........

At our club meeting last night, a club member brought in some gold coins so we could all see where they ID'd on our machines. He brought in a $1, $2 1/2, $5, $10, and $20 gold coins. Now that I know where they fall, I won't miss the next one I go over! By the way, anyone with an Explorer XS, I wrote down the ID #'s.

I have a $5 Gold Piece but do not really know what those other denominations would read. Would greatly appreciate if you post the numbers for the Gold Coins so everyone here can have a chance to dig a possible Gold Coin. Thanks in advance! Oh, and one other thing, do you have the reading for the $3 Gold Piece as well or was the member missing that one. Thanks!:bouncy:

$1.00 gold=Ferr 08 Cond. 04
$2.50 gold=Ferr 08 Cond. 10
$5.00 gold=Ferr 07 Cond. 22
$10.00 gold=Ferr 07 Cond. 27
$20.00 gold=Ferr 04 Cond. 29

I have the Explorer XS, and the digital numbers are:

$1 = 5
$2 1/2 = 11
$5 = 22
$10 = 26
$20 = 28

The $3 and $4 gold coins were not available.

Someone elase below posted the EX II nombers.

How about some screen shots? I never hunt in digital - only in SmartScreen and would like to know where they hit. Thanks.

I always hunt in digital and switch to smart find now and then to see where I am hitting near the iron.
