GOLD - good start of new season - digging dried swimming hole

sdesic

New member
Swimming season finally ended.
Today I went over part of one of salt lakes.

It was overcast with chance of rain ... and it rained :( cats and dogs
6 hours hunt (3 overcast + 3 rain)

G2 had some problems with so much salt on gravel - lots of false signals.
Plus there is a power cables for pumping station ...

Two different ground grabs ... ballance at about 65 and about 35

I have one question ...ground ballance at 35 is what kind of terrain?

Found few coins and lot's of trash and metal garbage.
Few good items are mens gold ring 14k and female ring 585 - 14k
and one silver ring... snapped

Thank you AJ

It is salt lake bed ... few inches under is salt water and muck... then rubber membranes

good job on the nice finds sdesic sounds like a good spot the goodies cant sink too far?

salt is hard to hunt but you are doing a good well sure there is more there

It is great hunting ground... man made swimming hole / lake(s)
in middle of town, easy access and it is second year detecting after 10 years
my first year with G2 ... last year I was using white's 6000 di pro sl and missed some gold (15+ gold rings and shains)

very kool spot , and the water comes out heaven in the middle of town well done on the finds and the spot is kool keep hitting it :super:

These rings are leftovers from last year ... did not detect it with G2 :)
Two lakes are still full, in next month we will see what one year of swimmings brings.

It is man made swimming hole - like large pool with pebbles.
Draining and filtering ... rubber membranes are at bottom
