In the Andy Sabisch book in the chapter "gold" program it says there are no keepers in terms of gold that fall above the target ID +30,
I have a few krugerrands from a reputable dealer all hit 37 in air tests with my safari ? any Comments

Andy's "gold program" is meant strictly for beach use so as to find a maximum amount of "gold jewelry" when in competition with other beach hunters. The vast majority of whom are also taking the time to dig any and all coins that they may come across. With Andy's program you are just concentrating on finding gold jewelry and for all practical purposes are ignoring anything above 30 because there is very little gold jewelry to be found above it. That is not to say there are not any "gold coins" found above 30 because on pg. 62, he mentions that a gold sovereign will read 31. My own research shows that many gold coins will read between 30 and 38 on the Safari including a few of your heavier gold rings, but overall very little gold jewelry will read in that range.

Thanks for that i thought i had a couple of duff krugerrands
