gold makers mark identification

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source for US and/or European makers mark identification on gold jewelry? I've done a pretty thorough internet search and can't seem to find anything on this -- it's a ring that has '18', then a big stylized 'W' with smaller 'H' and 'W' inside the big 'W' and then 'K'. I'm pretty sure it's 18k gold, but I haven't been able to track down the makers mark and have no idea if it's European or not.

i use www.925-1000.com for research on hall marks/makers marks they mostly deal with old stuff but they do have a forum for identifying makers marks.
