Gold on the beach - Wet sand

Heras

New member
I suposse i should look for gold here in spain, in those areas on the beach that are filled with the heavy stuff, like little stones and broken shells, since coins and jewellry would tend to deposit there, since they are heavy also?

I cant hunt on the low or hide tide, since here that simple doesent exist, theres almost no difference. And in dry sand there is just some coins and lot of crap.

any tips?

I know most jewelry will be inside the water, but i have to wait till it gets here and i want to search at the best spots!

Thought 'tectin was verboten there in Spain. Make sure you check the local laws, etc. Best of luck to ya!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

theres only in andalucia that you cant detect, well, you can but if the police finds you they can make you pay like 5000 thousand euros and they take your detector.

thats lame

In freshwater, I find most of my gold in the shallow water where people throw frisbees around, in the water above the waste line where the fingers get wet, cold, slippery & 'boink" and the deeper water.
