gold pic considerations

Are there any possibilities of coupling the gold pic circuitry with a much larger coil for cache hunting? I have two brand new and untouched gold pic kits, but were bought with intention of building cache hunters. If not possible will let them go or trade if anyone is interested.

I have some experiments with Gold Pic.This circuit is a "one hold&sample" and work good with 1x1m 12 turn 1sqmm.
