Gold quest

Well-known member
Hello Eric, you Create who goldquest SSv2 could go well in the Canary Islands. He already knows, land highly mineralized (iron and basalt) Hawaii type. Thank you very much. Frank.

the Goldquest SS should work there OK. If there is any trouble, switch to a widescan, ( DD ) coil.

Thanks Mr. Bill, I am going to have it in account, and of certainly it will be my next detector

I haven't detected there in years as its supposed to have identical laws to the mainland of Spain. i.e. you face a fine/confiscation of detecting equipment for illegally importing a detector and are subject to the Historical Heritage Law 1985, Royal Decree 1986 and their Navy considers detectors may interfere with their electronic equipment.

As regards Pulse I did use a Beachscan ( a forerunner to the Goldquest SS) years back and it did cope well with the conditions.

Do the local Police now turn a blind eye to detecting Draco ?

Hello Brian, the law of the patrimony, now is competition of the different independent communities. The use of the metal detector is not prohibited, which if it is prohibited is his use with archaeological aims, and in this case it is submitted to administrative permission, but this it is not the case. Insofar as the imported detectors can interfere to the military radars, this is one " falacia" (lie) on the part of some salesman without scruples. Greetings, Frank.
