Gold ring silver bracelet and silver

raweppler

New member
Was looking for a home to search after work one day and saw an old home and stopped to ask permission to hunt. Permission was granted and I asked if they new if any jewelry was lost so I could return. He stated no. So I was off.

First warble produced a 1926 SLQ!!! My first one dated this year; found 2 others with no dates. Next warble and new was another quarter so hoping for 2 SLQ; but was 1948 Washington. Next warble was showing dime and up came a 1948 Roosie. Little later 1944 Mercury and another Roosie 1956.

Now was heading toward the far side of front yard and got a low sound and after dug out the plug saw GOLD. It was a 1943 class ring. A little further a warble produced a large sterling silver bracelet.

Total wheats for this yard was 31; from 1926 to 1958. This yard produced 61 total coins. I am attaching pics of the gold and silver:

Them SLQ gets your blood flowing.... nice bunch of finds. Those kind of yards really makes you look forward to getting back out there and asking for permission.

Very nice finds you got raweppler.:clapping: That's really great that you got a date off of that SLQ. Are you going to try and find the owner of the class ring? I have only found two and did manage to get one of them back to the original owner. GL & HH.

Were the coins cleaned in a rock tumbler?

I do not use a tumbler for the silver. I did use Majic Eraser; however it does leave swirl marks and I do not think I will use anymore.

Problem with the class ring is it does not have a school name, only initials.
