After getting a little use in with the 150, I'm tempted to get a 250 now and combine it with the excellent information contained in Clive Clinick's book "Gold Methods" and give it some serious time as a primary jewelry hunter. Having seen first hand the capabilities of the 150 to detect some very tiny pieces of gold, I can't help but wonder about the possibilities of the 250 with it's full-range notch discrimination. Clive goes into alot of detail in his book about locating promising locations for gold rings especially, and although the book is geared toward the DFX, I think all of the information outlined offers some serious food for thought for anyone using a good notch discrimination detector.
