gold rings as copper

bubber

New member
Been looking for a ring for a woman, did some air test tonite, small and med size rings registered 15 and 19, and were in the gold setting at the bottom of the screen on my Quattro. BUT heavy gold rings register 30 and 31, and are in the copper segment of the scale. Is this normal?

Bubber, I'm not sure. I did a couple of air tests on ladies rings and one of them was a 7, (I believe), and another test on a man's right with different kinds of gold combined on the same ring, gave it a 19. I'd get another opinion, from some other folks. I'm sure some of the more experienced gold people on this site could give you a pretty solid answer.
