gold rings on ferrous range

Heras

New member
Is this true?

can gold rings appear on the screen has 2,5,7,14,22,32, 36, 40.? (i thought only ferrous objects appeared in this range?)

if this is true, means that in order to get them best chance would be looking for small signals in therms of space they fill, thare are both strong and weak, and that give a solid sound? or rings do not give a solid signal?

planning to get gold rings on a beach that has a lot of place filled with little stones and broken shells, there are plenty of stuff sounding as iron that might be gold, damn...

any tips on what would be the best configuration and advices to find them with the AT PRO?

I have found two ultra tiny 14k gold rings that bounced from iron to foil. Other jewelry that has a mix of metals can do the same thing. Personally I wouldn't scoop the low iron range on a beach. But high iron up gets scooped. I do however skip iron signals if digging in the dirt. I have found the ATpro is very good about telling me a target is iron. These 2 small rings I mentioned hit at 41 on the ATpro. But in every case the hunter that digs every signal misses nothing. It's all about time management to me....

41 would be ok, but i saw on the net people talking about gold appearing as low has 2, 12, 20... that seems wierd.. my configuration is iron audio at 40, and in pro mode. i think ill will be fine like this. thx for answering ;-)

since platinum and white gold usually register below yellow gold rings of the same size. I'd drop iron reject to 36 and dig all good signals above 36 on the beach in a non trashy environment.
