Shucks - I wanted to see close-ups of the fishing weights.

Nice stuff.

The amount of Gold and Silver that you are finding would surely weaken your normal floor trusses to the extent of a sure collapse from all the weight. Hope you have Jewelery Damage Insurance on your house!:heh: Nice finds Skully! Another Gold and more Silver. Imagine That!!! The round item with a hole in it might have been a tag from a hotel room key or had some other kind of key on it. I take it there isn't any markings on either side so it is hard to say for sure. Hope you luck sticks with you at those sites. Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

Thought it was a whistle...but it has part of a swivel at the other end

Any Clues???

Nice finds Skully Im amazed at all the things you find. What amazes me more is how you take an ugly looking piece of jewelry and bring it back to life. Can you tell me how you do that? or if you`ve posted it before can you direct me to that post.thanks

It is spring loaded on the inside & when a large enough fish hits it you can set the hook & the weight will drop so you can fight the fish without the weight interfering. The weight attaches to the little slot in the side...Of course the weight needs to have an eye hook..TT
