Gold with an OMEGA?

Has anyone found anything gold with their OMEGA? What have you found? Rings, jewelry, necklaces, what? Has *ANYONE* found any gold coins with their Teknetics products? If so, please explain what the TID was on the machine. Did it read foil, iron, nickel, what? I am super curious to see what (if any) users have found. I know that people will start talking about the Gold bug product or the G2 product, but my question is about an Omega or T2.

Thanks in advance,
bubbadirect

p.s. I wanna find a gold coin someday with my Omega :detecting:

I've found a small child's 14k ring, a thin chain with a round pendant about the size of a dime, and a few small ear rings studs. They ID'ed in the foil range, at least all the gold I've found so far with the Omega.

As with everything, location is the key, and even when you're in a location that dates to an era when gold coins would have been in common use, you need to have a lot of things in your favor. For example:

Monte-Wow! Another post with extremely important information. Thank you. I still think that the possibility exists for the gold coins and such to be found where I CW relic hunt, but I guess I needed someone (like yourself) to remind me to dig the "what appears" to be junk signals like very low foil or high iron all the way up to screw caps, could actually be a gold piece. Well, the storms are moving in and I gotta get to bed. But again, thank you! :goodnight:

I wish I was hunting 30 years ago in the area that you hunt and the UTAH sites with this Omega now.
