After reading many posts about soccer fields. I decided to try it. Guess what, I found a gold ring. I dug about 50 pulltabs but all was worth it. Thanks for looking. HH everyone

Great find, you can't beat Tesoro at jewelry hunting. Tabman is right I have found 7 golds this past month and have dug 1000x that in pull tabs lol I dont mind the reward is worth it!

Maybe. I figure it was the spot where most would reach into their pocket to get their keys.
On a different note. Is it me or does it seem we find more Men's wedding bands than women's? I wonder why. Is it because the woman is more careful because the ring is usually 10X more than the mans? Just some thoughts to ponder.

Great thinking on the gates/entrances, this has been one of my strategies. I always try to think where people might be fumbling for keys, money etc. and search in those areas. My theory is men are more active and oblivious to the possibility of their jewelry getting jarred lose on perhaps a tackle in football a throw from center field etc. I agree too that womens jewelry tends to be more valuable as the men are trying to woo them. Men are pretty casual and will settle for anything in my opinion.Maybe the women are more protective of the jewelry for sentimental reasons. all great theories, but Ill take mens or womens jewelry either way if I find it lol
