Goldquest is set up to find gold, low conductivity targets will it be less sensitive to Quarters, Dimes, Pennies and more sensitive to Nickles. To me, coins for the most part are a nuisance. Also will I have a problem with detecting waves in the surf? Thanks.

I will give you my experience with my Goldquest SS. It is not a silver machine, not that it will not find them it does but I feel it is simular to my CZ20 or Excalibur on the coins. I have dug dimes at 10 to 12" and quarters deeper but nickels and gold items, gold rings etc. much, much deeper. I would grade it A+ and normal grade on silver. I dig pulltabs deeper than coins. Silver rings about like silver coins...This is my experience and I have used it some in Tennessee and much on Florida Beaches and in the saltwater wading...Frank

This is of 5 days at a North Florida Beach...Gold and silver...all Goldquest SS. There were plenty other guys there detecting on the same beach...These all were deep. Frank
