Okay, okay...they're not the finest gold chain links around , so instead, I had to settle for almost an ounce of very tasty 14kt gold.
Tony.

Thanks Bob,
I'd like to find the owner, but really little chance of that with no names engraved, etc.
With valuable finds like this, I always ponder the thought that there is someone as miserable with losing something like that as I am as thrilled with finding it Oh well...they should be more careful!!

Beats going to the goldfields and having to put up with the flies for an ounce, you could have used a Tandy detector to find that monster. Raoul

Not sure about being "too" young Frank....always manage a few creaks and cracks from the back when I get up in the morning . Thought the pic of gold might help warm some of the folks in the Northeast of your country....I know you are nice and warm down your way as I am way down this way!
About 95F today, so I'm off to the water to hopefully land some more gold.
Regards..Tony.
PS Don't normally post pics as I know it's a tech forum, but maybe it's a bit of a nice balance between the theory stuff, and an end user's final result...I'm sure Mr.Bill won't mind as this is what the machines he sells are capable of finding

Nice find Tony! how deep did you have to dig and what were the ground conditions like?

Buzz.....the ground conditions were really wet...the bracelet was in chin-deep water!!
It was definitely a recent loss as I had searched the same spot just a few days prior. It was probably only covered by an inch or so of sand.
