Hi my friend and I have this week just bought a PI detector each him the Goldquest myself the Surfmaster, he is coming 200 miles this weekend to detect with me for a couple of days will let you know how we got on next week

Not too certain what one will interfere with the other. If your going to test each of them together, be sure to turn off the detector that is not being used at that time. Both on together will most likely cause some interference with each other. It could affect your results.

Thanks for your advice Mr Bill, last year we tested, the Minelab Sov, the explorer and the Whites surfmaster PI Pro. No contest the PI won hands down,would think there will not be much difference in depth in these two PI detectors, but we will see. Anycase the whole object is to go out there and enjoy ones self no matter what, Had a trial run the other day with the Surfmaster and found no gold but 14 coins in a 2 hour stint. on a beach I thought was well searched , the only draw back was the wind was very fierce,difficult to hear the very quite targets at depth.
