goldscan 5 ...two questions

Hello , is the goldscan a hipmount detector ??
Should it be easy to check the batt./signal meter , i mean , is its possition where you can easely see it ??
hope this machine is the answer against al that iron .

Yes on both counts.
The unit is designed to be strapped around the waist and the battery/signal meter is on the top face, so you are looking straight down at it...assuming you have the unit positioned within 180 degree angle of the "front of you"...
