Can anyone help?
I have a Goldscan 4 also a beachscan-Is it possible to (with plugs sockets and switch) to use the probe on the beachscan (socket on the goldscan, socket+switch on the beachscan).
Thanks for any help/advice.
T.J

Well, I will take a stab at it, since I have had both, the coil is the same to my knowledge and should work within the perimeters of the electronics, both being about the same.
The question is why? both will do about the same detecting job, is there something wrong with Goldscan? If you are having trouble with the auto-tune, you need to modify that to stabilize it.

Thanks DJ for your help-Its just that i miss the probe thats on the goldscan.

You could buy one of the pin-pointers maybe without having to go to all that trouble. HH....Don

Hi TJ,
You can get a separate PI probe coil, rather than pinch the one off your Goldscan. You would then just have to make a switching arrangement.
Eric.

Hi Eric,
The switching arangment would be no problem, but where do i get one?
I like the one on the Goldscan its sturdy and well made unlike some of the separate ones i have had.
Thanks Eric and others for the input.
