I have just got hold of a Goldscan with probe in exellent condition-I have only had time to use it once,but what a great machine in comparison to my cs6pi witch i still think is a good little PI.
The help i need is--1. what voltage is the battery(should i ever need to make one up. 2.Is it still possible to get a 8" coil. 3.Is there anyware i can get a manual. 4.If something wrong is it still possible to have it repaired?
I would be greatfull for any help.

Hi Trevor,
The battery is 14.4V nominal, 12 off 2.2Ah Nicad C cells. It is possible to get an 8in coil, although it would likely have to be specially made. You can get a manual from me, and I still repair them if needed.

Thank you Eric for your fast reply-As i am new to this forum thing-just let me know what to do get the manual? Oh just one more thing is the coil a single 2 connection job? (by the way i live in swansea wales right by the coast-Lucky me-. TREVOR.
