Good headphone????

Just got my ID edge. Great machine. I have been using a nice set of headphones for a years which were plenty loud for every machine ive ever had. However, they arent very loud with the edge. Could someone recommend a good set of headphones with volume to spare? Are the high end ones (black widow, killer b's, etc) really as loud as they claim? Thanks for the input.

Do you have the volume on the menu turned up to 10......first id disc. second is volume U1 to U10...supposed to be a V but looks like a U to me....Heck I have mine turned up to 8 and with volume set high on my Calrad 20-25 dollar headphones will blow out my eardrums so run phones at 50 percent...Just checking as you are new to the unit...or perhaps it is faulty...
Hopefully its the phones and not you or the unit...
 
Yep, volume up all the way. These phones work great on the coinstrike, 1225x, 1270, whites classic 3, QXT, Garrett 550, and crappy bounty hunters, lol. Just dont seem to cut it on the id edge. Ive had a pair of the $25 calrads and these phones are a bit louder. Guess ill have to try out some high end phones.
