Turned out to be a good day silver wise. Ended up with 21 Wheats, 2 Rosey's (1957, 50D), and 5 Merc's (1916, 17, 40, 44, 45), one War nickel (43P) and a Kennedy half. I didnt show all the junk jewerly and new clad. I was hunting a 1929 school house no longer in use. I talked to the amish guy that owned it and he went to school there so he know a good bit about the place. He pointed out where the play ground, softball field, and basketball court was. He said there had been a lot of people hunt the place but with little success... that made me feel even better about my finds. The school house area its self wasnt a producer. The play grounds and fields were now a farm field.... i cant tell you how hard it is to hunt those stubble fields with a DD coil. I had two possible KEY dates... a 1924 penny that turned out to have an S instead of a D..... and my second, yes second 1916 with no friggen D. [attachment 124619 IMG_1181.JPG]
