Good mony finds for the night

Hello All. I had my first try at beach detecting, started mid after noon and went most of the night until my foot started to play up. Back to the car for some thing to drink and a bit of tucker & pain killer. This was about midnight and fell asleep and woke up at about four in the morning. So back to detecting, the coins count for the day's outing i maniged to find 175 coins with a total $ value of $of $98.50. this will help for some fuel for the future. next week should be ok as one beach are holding the state volley ball titles and down a bit further south the iron man titles are also on. A lot of sand had been pushed up to make some flat areas for the events and I didn
 
Boy did you ever hit the "mother load" on that one! Good job, there Stan and good look on you foot too. I'm amazed you could go that long with the bad foot, but you did it and hopefully it heals so there's no more pain. Marc.
 
Hi Stan, nice load of coins there. It's nice when you find pockets like that. Have you thought about water detecting, like with an underwater detector? If you think there's heaps onthe sand, you should try the water!

Golden, I wonder what kind of water detector your talking about?:| Wait, now, don't tell me it's the same company as the Quatro. You know I'm kidding here, even though Charles Garrett, would be P.O'd, I think the Excal has to be a good choice. I've heard too much good stuff about it to think differently. Let me know if I'm wrong here, folks.
