Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday! Thanking God for the cooler weather! We have highs in the mid 80's with cool nights - finally. Looking forward to much cooler weather! Got the TV warming up for a day filled with FOOTBALL. Praying for all of you and all the requests.

Yes The Lord made teh 4 seasons like I believe to show us the 4 seasons of our lives.

Spring: Born, growing, maturing................................. Our First 25 years

Summer: Mature, prime of life .................................. 25 - 50 years

Fall Beautiful time of our life but turning ...................50 - 75 years

And Finally winter ......................................................75 - ??? The time to return to our Heavenly Father


I know some people do not make it to winter, just like a lot of wildlife and trees do not either Deseases, hunters and other things hit ALL parts of nature.

My beautiful wife died at the age of 45. At least I have made it to the fall of my life.

Yep, I hope Bama wins, too. Shouldn't have any trouble with North Texas. I'm sitting here trying to pull Clemson through this game with a win over Auburn. Not sure that will happen though. Tennesee & Florida come on next - GO VOLS!!! Then the Bama game, but will have to flip back and forth to see how the Florida State & Oklahoma game is going - Go Noles!

Wish we had some 30's here!

Robert, Your diving season might be almost over, but that means my digging season will begin!

According to your your scale of life, I'm still in summer (I dislike summer & warm or hot weather), but I wont be in summer too much longer. Another couple of years and I will hit the big 5-0. That's fine with me! Turning 50 means nothing to me.

Hi Lisa, and hope you have a great Sat with the Football game and etc. Being 50 soon, should mean something to you, as you will have lived half a century and many don't make it to then! And live begins at 40, but you can make it begin at 50, also! More time with children grown and gone to enjoy yourself by doing and going where you please, as long as God is pleased with it, that is!!! I am already in winter with all its colder temps along with aches and pains but Praise God that means my spirit will be with Him, sooner, and then eternally life by believing in Jesus, Who is God with us and our One and Only God to worship by giving Jehovah praise, glory and honor to Him only in the name of Jesus! Amen! Hope Bama wins and May God's Blessings be more for health and happiness! Ma Betty

Bama beat North Texas 41 - 0. Clemson beat Auburn. It was a good day. Wish TN had beat FL, and that FL St. would have beat Oklahoma, but oh well. It was still a good day. Who did MI play today?

No, I didn't see that. I don't watch very much Pro ball. Just not interested in it. If I ever do watch, it would be a rare Green Bay, Redskins or Falcons game. Maybe a Saints game. But those would be rare times. About the only time I get interested in it is if one of the above teams are in the playoffs or Super Bowl.
