Hi I just heard some news from a friend that I detect with. He and a friend were detecting in a local park, he got a good signal at three inches or so, dug it ,and came up with a nice gold ring. Diamonds and such with one catch, you might say.......the owners name on the inside edge. There are things you keep and things you try to return. When something has a name on it I try to return it and he called the guy and left a message so we will see how this story turns out. HH George

I never dug anything but a dog license tag that was identifiable, and I called the owner..
Suppose I'd just grin and make the call if I dug a ring with a name on it, also...
