sure are, around here when the lilac bushes start to bloom it's time to start huntin these tasty treats. we hit large and small woodlots and do even better in the farmlands where there is woods. if we ever cared to sell them people pay fifteen bucks or more a pound for them around here.

You can have all the mushrooms you can eat....because Ma does not like mushrooms of any kind! YUCK! I used to help my mother find them in the woods around our farm and she really liked them! My sister and brother-in-law hunt for them too and like eating them I always called them upside down Christmas Trees! God Bless! Betty

Hey Lee, that's really cruel, posting that pic. Those Morrels are the best around. There is no taste like them. A guy came to the school to pick up his daughter the other day. Said he had just gone mushroom hunting. I said I would like to find a good mess of them. He reached into the passenger seat and said here, have a good day, and gave me a bag of them. Joans dad came over one day last spring and asked me how I liked the mushrooms he gave Joan the day before. I said what mushrooms? Ain't never gonna let her live that down.

Sorry Dk, did'nt mean to tease. yeah they are great, kids got out today and got about five more pounds for the older folks on the block that can't get out to get them anymore.
