Got a desire for an Explorer II

Mike Hillis

I should never print and leave detector manuals in the bathroom :bouncy:

The 2D discrimination thing sounds pretty cool and since I've tried the best of the rest, might as well give this one a go, too. :detecting:

I'm $500 short of ordering one now, and I don't want to sell a current detector, so it may take me a few weeks to figure out how and earn the remaining cash, so I'll just lurk and ask questions here and there. :)

I looked at what a small cd I had from and old job was giving me in interest. I made more in 6 months picking up coins with my old detector,(not counting jewelry) than what the bank paid in interest last year. I cashed it an and got the EX 11. It pays better. Next January will be 1 year with it. It will almost have paid for itself in loose change by then at the rate I am going. Providing the parks are not all shut down from butchers by then. SO far its still ok around here. And the more people I do favors for with it, gets me into more places that don't allow them. "Gots to give to receive" and it does work. A couple of good references and your in like flint.
Good luck

and may not go back! It is hard to beat this machine, I have tried some others but always seem to come back to the Explorer. I don't think you will be disappointed with it, it does have a learning curve but I think you are used to that and it has different ways to set up and you will have to try them all out and find what you like best.HH and Take care,
