Got a few today.

Headed out early this morning to the same old park. Walked 5 feet from the truck and had a good hit. Turned out to be an 1881 Indian head cent. Headed back to the same area where I dug the 1851 large cent last week and managed to unearth two very deep 1875 Indian head cents. This spot has been turning out quite a few 1870's Indian heads so maybe there is an 1877 hiding in there somewhere :) Charles showed up and scored a couple Indian heads before the finds slowed down. I did manage to score an 1943 Mercury dime and then we decided to hit another park for a change of scenery. All I could find there was an 1918 Mercury dime before we called it a day.

Re: Got a few today.

Way to go Ed. Very nice indeed. Wish we could fine more stuff like you do out here in Washington State. It has been raining pretty hard lately and it should help with some finds when I can get out. HH.

Re: Ed upstate NY.

We get our share of rain, but the past couple of summers have been really dry and makes the digging and finds pretty tough.
