Looks like the gold producing river is just about frozen over. It is still diggable in the woods, so out I went yesterday using the VORTEX VX9. Got some modern coins and a beautiful AVON lady's vintage compact. I also dug up some spent shotgun shells, which help date the area.

Here's the weight of this years gold.

You've really got the gift.
Or is it the machine ?
Actually I know better.
Always enjoying your skills and finds John.
Nice gold.
More than I've found in a lifetime.

Love to see some really zoomed in pictures of that gold.
I'm amazed at the details of fine gold.

This is how I like to use my spare time for retirement. No cell phone, lots of solitude and being outdoors surrounded by nature. "You've really got the gift. or is it the machine ?" You forgot to mention a little luck! Stay safe my friend.
